The brief

What Ask Musawo needed, and how we approached it

Ask Musawo needed to bring appointment booking, doctor-patient communication, and patient monitoring into one real-time system, backed by AI-assisted diagnostics rather than static forms and phone calls. We built a React and Express platform with a Socket.io real-time layer for live updates between patients and doctors, a Prisma and MySQL backend, and a companion Flutter mobile app, so patients can book appointments and doctors can monitor cases from wherever they are.
